Dunster art auction and display marks another year of success

Dianne St. Jean

Sunday, May 14 saw a steady stream of folks flow into Dunster to see what was on display at the school grounds.

Inside there was a delightful display of local artists’ paintings, while the silent auction 8 x 8 artwork display was set up in the gym.

According to art auction coordinator Bridget Uhl, there was an amazing 73 submissions.

In total about $1600 was raised. All the proceeds will be shared between the Dunster Community Association and the Dunster Schoolhouse.

Outside, the school grounds held burger and refreshment sales and the annual Mother’s Day yard sale.

It was a great time to see some amazing art, put in some bids, and enjoy the company.

Thanks go out to all the contributing artists, volunteers and participants.
