Fall Programming

Fall 2017
Jasper National Park has begun its fall programming.  Come and join a park interpreter for fun facts, interesting insights, amazing activities and educational entertainment through September 24 with programming on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Bat Walk
Location: Meet at [P4] off of Pyramid Lake Road
Date and time: Friday at 8 pm
Bats hold a special place in modern literature as terrifying, blood sucking creatures of the night, but all that they really want to do is eat bugs! Join a park interpreter at the Cottonwood Slough parking lot (P4) off of Pyramid Lake Road for an hour long guided walk all about our fuzzy flying friends. (Bring your own headlamps if you can since our supplies are limited.)  Heritage Firehall Location: Heritage Firehall, 414 Patricia St.
Date and time: Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm
The Heritage Firehall is a central hub for hands-on learning and interactive programming. Come visit us to discover Jasper’s plants and animals and our northern skies. Searching for fun things to do outside of town in the park? Our Interpreters can point you in the right direction.                                                                  Voyageur Music Program
Location: Heritage Firehall, 414 Patricia St.
Date and time: Saturday and Sunday at 3 pm
What was it like to be a Voyageur, travelling thousands of kilometres through the Canadian wilderness? Join our crew as we explore history through song, dance and some funny characters. With instruments and our voices we will enjoy some heritage music and get into some hands-on fun!                                           Claw and Order
Join us for an evening of live theatre in Whistlers Campground.
Location: Whistlers Outdoor Theatre
Date and time: Saturday at 8 pm
Follow Jane Doe, a spotted deer on a mission to help humans and wildlife to better understand each other, as she encounters some of Jasper's most famous and funniest wildlife characters. See how she works to resolve the conflicts that can arise between animals and humans, and discover what it means to be a Wildlife Guardian. A fury and hilarious journey through song.
