Mud, rocks and timber crashed onto Highway 16 at Spittal Creek and Leona Creek following a sudden high alpine deluge. The highway between Tete Jaune, B.C. and McBride, B.C. had been closed for some time during the night while maintenance assessed the damage and cleared  the road. The Highway was re-opened early Thursday Morning.
