April 22 - Spring tune-up and open house at Cardinal Ranch. Free! Bring you and/or your horse; build confidence on obstacles, push the Long Horns, watch demonstrations on bridle-less riding, liberty, and roping. Trail ride the perimeter of the ranch if you want. It's all here, do as much or as little as you want. Free coaching available if you like.

April 29 - McBride Ducks Unlimited Annual Supper & Auction Fundraiser at Robson Valley Community Centre. Theme is Black Tie and Blue Jeans. Tickets $40 per person, available from local members or call Beth at 250-569-7460

April 29 - Valemount Crime Stoppers, in conjunction with the Valemount IGA Store, will be having a barbecue from 11:00AM until 2:00PM at the IGA Store. Hamburger or hot dog, a can of pop, and a bag of chips - only $5.

April 30 - Robson Valley String Ensemble & Fiddlesticks Spring Concert @ 5:30PM at the E-Free Church in McBride. Selections from Fiddler on the Roof, three different Tangos, Cinema Paradiso, Music from Brave, and others. An afternoon of music and refreshments!

May 14 - Silent Auction Fundraiser for Dunster Fine Arts School Society and Dunster Community Association. Deadline for submissions of 8 x 8 artwork is May 1.You can drop off your creations at the Dunster School or store, or at the CBAL office in Valemount on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 10:00 and 2:00 or the McBride & District Library.
