Dec. 19 - The Long Night – A Service of Hope: A sacred gathering with music, prayer, scripture, and quiet reflection.  Please join us on Wednesday, December 19 at 6 pm at McBride Anglican United Church for The Long Night Service, a time for quiet, for healing, for hope.  We recognize that in the seasons of Advent and Christmas many struggle with finding feelings of joy when they are grieving or dealing with the harsh realities of life.  We recognize people may need to step away, even for an hour, from the busyness and bustle of preparing for Christmas.  Through music, scripture, and quiet reflection we will seek the hope that God offers in the birth of Christ and lift prayers for one another and ourselves.  We will gather in community to support one another -  come to find support for yourself or come and be the angel that God sends to be with those seeking to know that “God so loved the world.”  Led by Kim McNaughton with music by Sarah McCrea and Ellise Gustafson-Randall.
